Bronze Level

The Beginner (Bronze) Level is the level where we must make sure to instill positive habits that will help you progress through your musical journey and reach your personal goals. You will learn the basics of proper playing technique, chords, and rhythms. Students must retain knowledge, and display playability, of all techniques and concepts taught at this phase before advancing.

Here are a few things you can do, as a Bronze student, to prepare for your lesson:

-Have an Acoustic or Electric Guitar that is playable.

-Have a tuner.

-Listen carefully and take notes.

-Have good posture.

-Have a willingness to learn.

-Understand consistent practice is required.

If you have never played a guitar before, or have little to no experience, then you are in the right place! Our experienced teachers provide beginner-friendly classes that are designed to help students master the basics and begin playing the music you love.

Brief Course Description

Guitar Anatomy and Tuning

Chords

There are many different chord types used in all styles of music. Here we introduce the 3 most common chord types for beginner players: Open, Fifth, and Barre Chords. Students will also learn how to build a chord, and how chord progressions created.

Strumming Patterns

Here you will learn what a strumming pattern is, and how it's purpose is to carry the rhythm of your songs. Strumming Patterns partnered with Chord Progressions are what get us started making and playing music.
